Accessibility Statement

WeLIVE Healthcare Services wants this website to be usable by everyone who needs it, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions or other assistive technology.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference standard. We are not claiming that the site meets that standard today.

This site has not been through a formal accessibility audit, and it has not been tested with a representative range of assistive technologies. No conformance level has been verified by anyone, internally or externally.

We are saying so plainly rather than publishing a claim we cannot stand behind.

• Page structure built from real headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can move through a page in order.
• Navigation, links and interactive elements that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text descriptions for photographs that carry meaning, and decorative images marked so assistive technology can skip them.
• Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged.
• Attention to colour contrast for body text and interface elements.

• Photography across the site is still being supplied. Placeholder images are in place and are marked as decorative until real photographs and their descriptions are added.
• Some pages are still being written and reviewed, so their structure may change.
• No formal audit has been completed, which means there are very likely barriers we have not yet found.

This site does not use an accessibility overlay, widget or toolbar. Those tools are often advertised as making a site compliant; they do not, and they can interfere with the assistive technology a person already uses and trusts. We would rather fix the site itself.

If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Describe the page and what happened, and we will look into it.
